    A few months ago someone posted pics of their new Gen III that was custom painted. The paint was a matte metalic dark gray (or maybe black), which made it look like a Batmobile. I've scoured the forums and even Google but can't seem to find this thread. Does anybody remember or better yet, have the link?

    Thanks, but that's not the car. The color was matte, and looked almost as if it had been dipped in a metallic plastidip.

    Well, it's shown wrapped in matte vinyl later in the thread, but if you're talking about matte paint, I don't remember seeing it. Hope others can find it for you.

    Ok that one on page 9 works. There was another thread/picture where it was taken in some residential neighborhood in the middle of the street. The car was less black matte and had more a metallic flake in it.

    The picture is strong in my mind but the keywords elude me.
