When you go to "more" smileys, there are the smileys, and the keyboard shortcuts that create them.

So, pick out the ones you want, and learn the shortcuts! :thumb: [ created by pressing : thumb : with no spaces ]

 

I think the key part is the OP is using his phone. Phone browser may not support all the emoticons. I know I'm unable to use emoticons when using Chrome.

 

Call me dumb but I am unable to use smileys while using google chrome. Anyone else have this trouble or suggestions how to fix it? The smileys work fine using ie7. oh when typing the text the smileys don't work but once posted they appear. :embarassed:
