Need Help With Locating Wire Colors For Power, Remote On and Rear Speakers from OEM Head Unit

    I have been searching and have had zero luck locating, what I thought, was an easy answer to my question. I have a 2013 Prius 4 w/ the JBL E7039 Head Unit. I am trying to find the wire colors for the power, remote turn on and rear speakers... coming out of the Head Unit, Not the JBL Amp. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank You in advance.

    Do the rear speakers actually come out of the head unit and not the JBL amp?

    I'm not sure what you're after with "remote turn on".

    Has the wiring diagram (more info) not contained what you need?

    All speaker leads should come out of the H/U and input to the amp. I need the non amplified leads to the rear speakers. LR and RR + and - I have figured out how to remotely turn on the Bazooka Tube.

    Looking at a 2010 wiring diagram, going from the H/U to the amp there's just one balanced pair for right channel (green/black), one for left channel (red/white), and a digital AVC-LAN hookup (over wires that are also, sadly, green and red).

    I also don't see anything suggesting a discrete remote turn on signal. Perhaps there is an AVC-LAN command for that.

    I know there were major A/V changes in the 2012 refresh, so 2013 details could be different.

    I'll take another look this weekend. I use the car M-F for work, so I don't have a lot of spare time to tear everything apart. Luckily...Toyota made this easy. You would think the wiring diagram would be around...somewhere ;-)
