    Hi All,

So I am in the market for a 2010 Prius. I have already test drove a 2010-2013 models and my budget fits a 2010 model lol :)

So far I am looking at a Certified Pre-Owned 2010 Prius, Sun Roof, Solar, Navi, 65k Miles for 18k.

    My real questions are:

Is that a good deal? Should I be concerned that it was 65k miles on it (22,000 miles per year)? Given that I only have 5 years and 80k miles left on the Hybrid portion, is that enough of a safety net? Toyota does give a 1 year comprehensive warranty on their certified pre-owned and I have 4 years left/100,000 mile warranty on the drivetrain.

Or should I look for a 2010 Prius with lower miles from a private seller and do away with the Toyota Certified Pre-Owned vehicles? Going that route I would only have 2 or so years left on Toyota's original 5 year/50,000 warranty on the drive train and about 5 years left on the 8 year/150,000 mile hybrid portion. I notice private sellers (or smaller auto dealerships) are about 2-3 less expensive than the certified pre-owned.

Need some help? :( From California (Los Angeles Metro)

How many miles do you drive a year?

Picked up a Prius III 2013 last night... 24k before tax... (that included the 7 year bumper to bumper), navi and backup camera. Overall extremely satisfied.

    :)

Boy, we've got to get quicker in our replies :) !

Well played. My advice was going to me to see what kind of deal you could get on a new vehicle. At very least, you have a battery that will last three more years into the future.
