New 2007 Owner

Hello, just wanted to say hello. I have been lurking at this site and doing my research for a while now.

We just received our 2007 package 7 with 12000 miles on it last Wednesday. It came by truck, 1 owner trade, cost us $21,990 plus $473 shipping both of which I thought were an excellent deal.

A local dealer has an 08 package 6 with 10000 miles for $25,900 and he's not budging so I thought we made a great deal. The original sticker was more than $28000. The previous owner only had it 6 months.

Still on the first tank nearing about 300 miles on it and according to computer averaging 46 to 49 miles per gallon according to what time of the day it is and how much driving has been done that day.

This thing rides like a dream and I have already cut my gas bill by nearly 2/3s even though we are only on the first tank.

Not to mention all of the interesting conversations I have with folks when they see the car.

Anyway thanks to all here who helped with my research. I look foward to participating in the Prius community for many years to come.

Thanks guys, yes I am in Murfreesboro and the color is Driftwood Pearl with the tan leather interior. To tell you the truth it looks gold to me but it is a pretty neutral color which is what I like.
