New ads taking up first post

    It makes the forums look like crap. It only shows up if your not logged in, but still, its so irritating.

    Not seeing anything. I use adblock with firefox, but it's turned off for Priuschat.:confused:

    Ah, sorry didn't read the OP carefully.:doh:
    Guess it's part of the incentive to get people to register when they use the site and to raise money for the site when non-registered users visit.

    The google adsense banner is across the top of the thread. I understand the necessity of pulling in a bit of revenue, but could they go to the bottom of the page? we generally all end up there, anyway.

    so people lets click away and make priuschat some money

    I see nothing special about the first post. I see the Google ads at the top of the page, but they don't annoy anybody.

    I understand the need to make revenue for the site, but when ads take up already used space, that starts to get crazy. Its not the google ads nor the ads at the top of the screen. I'm talking about the ads that insert themselves inside of the first posters area.

    I'm always logged on, so I only see them at the top, and honestly didn't notice them until now.

    And I still don't care.
