New Amsoil Synthetic

    I just received a Amsoil factory direct catalop.

    On page 8, they have a new synthetic oil, SAE 0W-20.

    Does anyone know if this a true synthetic similar to Castrol's synthetic from Germany?

    If by "true synthetic", you mean made of PAO base stocks, then yes.

    I think I will do the same thing when the time comes for my first oil change. This will be awhile since I only have <300 miles on the car. I am a preferred customer and can get it for the same price that a dealer can.

    WOW.....that's a long interval! Do you get the oil analyzed after each change?

    I don't follow sports a whole lot but, my daughter is convinced she is going to Purdue. :) The weather is 76 with a slight breeze and a chance of showers and t-storms later. :(
