New Buyer: 2006 or 2007?

I considered this as well. My #1 concern is I wanted to be able to take advantage of the full tax credit and didn't think a 2007 would come in before September 30

And as it turned out, I walked into a dealership and bought my Prius off the showroom floor with no waiting!

I recommend going ahead and getting the 06 model. You'll be more likely to qualify for the tax credit. Also, the differences between the 06s and 07s seem slim. You wouldn't get the advantage you would've gotten by waiting for the 06 over the 05. Buy now!

That's exactly what I did!!! 20007 doesn't seem to offer that much more things. Everytime they release a first batch of the next year, they sometimes don't even make the bigger changes till 2007.5. Waiting is always hard but it does pay off if they offer some crazy new gadget (which they won't, hopefully) ^_^ Start saving money now!
