New Car Stereo in 1st Gen Prius

    Hello,

    I have to apologize if this has been discussed earlier. If so, I wasn't able to find the right threat.

    Anyway. I own a 2002 Toyota Prius 1st Generation. I want to replace the original car stereo and install it in the area which is actually reserved for the CD-Player.

    Is it even possible to install a new car stereo at this place? If so, will it be easy to get to the power and loudspeaker wires? Will i need a special adaptor plate? Will the installation take forever? Do I have to disassemble the dash board to get to the wires?
