Just had leather installed on my 07 Classic Silver Prius. I had read a lot at how people did their own and the problems they had. Had a Shop that was recommended by Lighthouse Toyota in St. Augustine Fl and it was a Superb job with no wrinkles and they did all of the doors and center console. (The leather put in at the Port does not include the doors & center console) Ir ran $1100 plus tax. So if any of you are having second thoughts about pulling the trigger on the Leather interior I suggest you contact a dealer you can trust and ask where they send their interior repairs to. It was worth it!

Yes, post pictures when you have a chance.

Which aftermarket covers did you get?

Here are the pictures. They did all the armrests and the center console. The company is "Roadwire" and for install centers you can call 1-877-ROADWIRE. They don't show a website on my paperwork.

Was wondering, in your opinion how do they compare to the OEM leather that I think you have on your other Prius?

The seats compare equally except I got the ones without the perforations (they had those also for an extra 200 bucks) They are very comfortable and they sit as well as the factory seats. I believe the armrests and center console are better. They seem thicker and are all leather.

Did the motor trimmer who installed the leather leave the seat height adjusting lever off? Looks funny without it. :D

Seriously it looks great, very professional.

You can bet I'm looking for one but there are a lot of different ones out there so I'll ask this group about who is the best provider for steering wheel leather?

I bought the Wheelskins EuroPerf Perforated Leather Steering Wheel Cover in Sand and Black. It matched the interior leather perfectly. I too had leather installed, I choosed the perforated because it feels cooler in our tropical weather.

The steering wheel leather feels real good. It also helps prevent an allergy I get from the steering wheel's plastic. No need to wear gloves.

How can I tell if it is dealer leather etc? I thought mine was original but now that I think about it...The console and arm rests are cloth (suede stuff) My seats are leather 2005. It has the homelink on the rearview (whatever that is). I don't have the owner's manual.

Doesn't sound like Factory otherwise the armrests and center console would be done. sounds like it was put in at the port. Homelink is for opening garage doors.

Love the look of the leather. But I would have to add seat warmers up here. Had them in my Audi TT225 Quattro Roadster - Beetle Turbo S and my Boxster S.

"Homelink is for opening garage doors.

And tuning on your house lights etc via X10 modules. I pull up at night and click one of the buttons and the place is lit when I walk inside.
Ii use the X10 RR501 as my reciever in the house along with a few modules on lamps and such.

Where did you purchase these modules and how expensive were they?
