Scientists have created metal-organic crystals capable of soaking up carbon dioxide gas like a sponge, which could be used to keep industrial emissions of the gas out of the atmosphere.

Question is,,,where do we put it once we capture it????

I heard a Stanford Physics Prof mentioning that we generate enough co2 in a year to fill lake Michigan. Where are we going to find a new Lake Michigan each and every year with the stable geology to hold it. (NPR Seattle's "conversation" ~12/10/07)

I applaud the research, but I think we have to be wary of thinking that technology is going to save us from climate change. We are pretty far off the precipice now (IMHO). Question is too far?
