New Prius C two

First Toyota, first hybrid. Picked up a new c 2 this morning in absolute red. Pretty impressed. Changed job and I am now driving my 2003 v8 powered ford explorer 70 Miles rt per day to work @ 15-16 mpg. $400 per month in gas only just to drive to work. We kept the suv for home depot runs etc. Got a pretty good deal here in so ca. Payment and fuel for the prius per month will be the same as just the gas in the ford to just commute to work!

We went for the 7 yr 100k Toyota extended warranty. I never buy these things but for an extra $480 the peace of mind was worth it. Plan on keeping this for a long time. The warranty was $1200 but they dropped my finance rate from 3.49 to 1.74 if I got the warranty which drops the total interest on the loan almost by 50% bringing the actual cost of the warranty to $480.

Pretty happy with it, got 53 mpg on the way home!
