: ) New Prius Owner & Interior Light Mods!

Got my 2011 Prius III (Blizzard Pearl) in Jan 2012, now just over 2K miles. Took a while to get activated on the PriusChat but happy to be here. Added heated leather seats and have removed the plastic wheel covers to expose the very nice looking alloys beneath. Currently have replaced / installed blue LEDs in parking lights & all interior lights (except sun visor mirrors) and blue under dash & door courtesy and trunk lights. The under dash & trunk light are blue LED strips attached to courtesy / trunk wiring so they come on when door / trunk open. I have read elsewhere on the forum some folks prefer white or other colors but I had blue LEDs in my previous Acura TSX and was happy with it. To each his own. The trunk LEDs (two 9 LED strips) are mounted on the bottom of the cover bar and light the trunk very nicely, plus they can be unplugged from the wiring from the trunk light switch if bar needs to be stored. Got most of my LEDs from superbrightleds.com great descriptions, specs & service. Blue LED strips came from Walmart (!), they had them and I was antsy to try them. Will post pix shortly I hope!
