New Prius owner with a HID headlight problem

    I just purchased my 1st Prius, used but somehow I didn't notice that it had the driver's side headlight out. I purchased the Philips bulb on Amazon


    I watched some videos on youtube and then swapped out the bulb. It now works but ONLY on low beam. It will not switch to high beam like the other side does. It stays on low beam and doesn't go out when you switch to high beam.

    Does anyone out there know what my problem could be?
