I've been charging my 2020 Prius Prime at 240vac for a couple of years now using an adapter that's plugged into a dryer outlet. The factory 120vac charger/cable that came with the car (Toyota Part #G9060-47130) is plugged into the dryer's adapter and then cable from the charger is plugged into the Prius Prime. This adapter (EVDOUBLER) sells on eBay for $64.95 (8/5/24). Recently, I bought a new 2024 Prius Prime and it too, came with the same charger/cable (Toyota Part #G9060-47130) as my 2020 Prius Prime. The 2024 Prius Prime now charges at 240vac and takes approximately 1/2 the time that the 120vac charging would take. BTW, I was trained in electrical/electronic systems and feel that this is a very safe and inexpensive way to charge my Prius Primes.

I would actually be surprised if the OEM charger did not work at 240 Volts, since Japan and Europe use different voltages and 'universal' power supplies are easy to design and manufacture, and it is harder to maintain an inventory with special parts for different countries.
I made an adapter from my 240V twist-lock outlet-to-120 V. I don't need the speed, but on rare occasion it would help.
(PS, been working with electricity over 70 years.)
