I am the proud and happy owner of a 2010 Prius IIII. When I checked the quality and review on tire rack of my goodyear assurance tires I was disappointed to say the least. I have ordered 4 Michelin Pilot Exolta A/S which were the highest rated I could find. Also went up in size to 215 / 65 / 15. Any issues with these slightly larger tires ?

It'll probably throw off your speedo but that's really it.

Probably should have gone with Michelin Hydro Edge or the Energy Savers, both are LRR tires. So is the assurance Fuel Max.. Are the tires you purchased LRR? If not expect a FE hit! H

The Assurance Fuel Max is the worst tire I have ever owned. They are extremely noisy, rough riding and dangerously slick on wet pavement. I don't know if I got a bad batch or not. Had to return one because it had a hump on it that thumped, but I am ready to get rid of these and they are hardly worn.

That is my experience with them too. The only good thoughts i had about them is they did well on snow and water.

Should've gone with Continental PureContact...LRR tire, cheaper than Michelin, better than Bridgestone Ecopia

That's what I ended up going with, the PureContact. Pretty happy with them. I use dedicated winters, though.

Not after the mail in rebate offered in september. The other thing that swayed my opinion is that I found a person directly comparing the Goodyear assurances to the ecopia 422 plus on another forum, I couldnt find the same for the continentals. I wanted to know that what I got would be better than what I had. I am overall very happy with these tires and my first full tank of these tires I got 54.4 mpg.
