I found a 2008 Prius for sale with under 120,000 miles in my budget.

The owner didn't say what model or trim level it was so here are some photos. The owner said is has a back up camera, navigation and leather. She also said the battery was good and was not showing any codes.

What can you tell me from these photos and what should I check before bringing it home?

    welcome!

can't tell anything from the photo's, but you can plug the vin into the toyota owners website for dealer maintenance history, recalls and etc. have you done a car fax? maybe you want to take it to a dealer for an inspection.
i like to reset the trip meter, take it for a good long drive, and see what she returns for average mpg's.
    all the best!(y)

Having fog lights makes it a higher trim level. Welcome to PriusChat. I hope you enjoy your Prius as much as I have mine!

I have never purchased a used car, so I have no advice.

Thanks everyone. I'm excited. I've been watching youtube videos and reading Prius Chat. I have a lot to learn.

Take the car for a ride. Find a nice straight piece of highway no hills. Get up to 55 miles and hour set cruise control and then reset mileage indicator on the mfd. drive for about 4 miles without touching the gas pedal or brake the mfd mileage should be at least 45 mpgs. If not suspect hybrid battery is tired.
Watch hybrid battery charge level. Should not be jumping around should charg3 up to at least 3 blue lines and stay there.

That’s the only thing that will bust you out is having to buy a new hybrid battery a month after you buy it.
Battery not throwing codes is meaningless,
Seeing a lot of those. $4000 at my dealer. Caveat emptor.

Personally I would not buy a used Prius without a mini vci on a laptop you can look at module voltages. $25 amazon.com
