    I don't get New York... the state wants to protect electric car owners but NYC wants to take away people's electric bikes.

    I think the issue with e-Bikes is that some bad apples ruined it for everyone. Not sure why NY(not just NYC iirc) is so fixated on e-Bikes, but hopefully the obsession will die off someday.

    I wish this would pass today, but since it isn't, we have plenty of time to write, and encourage others to write. So basically there is no excuse for this bill to fail since we have plenty of time to campaign! ;)

    Hopefully it won't result in a backlash against EVs and more resistance for businesses to install more charging stations. I encourage parking garages to install accessible 120V/240V outlets near their least convenient spaces but they will refrain if they have to dedicate the spaces to EV only parking.
