New York Tax Credit

    Any New Yorker's here up to date on local politics? Pataki's 2006 budget calls for some large hybrid tax credits (very similar to what happened on the federal level, with the new credits exceeding the previous tax incentives that expired in 2005). But it seems a bit of a long shot, even with the state surplus. . .

    Anyone have a reasoned opinion on if they think that part of the budget might clear the legislature?

    I was gonna post a similar question also. Does that mean I am going to get back the tax I paid when I purchased Prius? -- on top of Federal $3,150 tax credit?
