It is getting worse for the NY Times. Jumpin Jihad Jack Murtha also spoke with the NY Times and asked them not to print the story - TRUE. What does this tell you? Apparently Mr Keller and the NY Times believe they are the ones who should decide what represents national security issues that should either remain secret or be disseminated to our enemies. And he did so after receiving pleas NOT to do so from nearly every "high" official and members of both parties.

So lets review the NY Times sedetion over the past year or so:
    1. the NY Times alerted the Holy Land Foundation and the Global Relief Foundation of an impending FBI raid.
    2. the NY Times disclosed the monitoring of INTERNATIONAL communications by the NSA.
    3. the NY Times disclosed the data mining of phone #'s and call patterns.
    4. the NY Times disclosed the SWFT program

Please, one and all read the lead editorial in the NY Times today. The editorial board in its FIRST sentence DISTANCED themselves from the news staff - Holy Cow Batman - could they be protecting their rear ends??

I argue that as well as the Right to Freedom of Speech we enjoy as Americans, we also have a right to expect the press to exercise appropriate judgement in what they print AND we have a collective right to our safety and our governments ability to protect us from threats both internal and external.

I STRONGLY believe the NY Times should be investigated and charges brought forth if the DOJ believes it warrented; those responsible for the leak of the SWFT program should be charged with TREASON.

So... You're just at your day job and the building explodes and you end up in the basement under 500 million tons of concrete and steel, you're in a nice little 'triangle of life' and you're trying to get a signal on your phone to tell someone you're down there...

Will you really have time to think about the fact that the NYT was the agent that helped the terrorists into the parking garage with their loads of fertilizer?

And, besides... The ACLU didn't want Dubya to violate the rights of those guys driving the trucks in there... It would be bad to offend anyone...

Good luck with that call you're trying to place, hope someone can get you out of the rubble before you have to start drinking your urine to survive day 5...
