Newbie reporting in from MI

    A good friend kinda talked me into the prius and also recommended this site as well. He mentioned everybody here is very helpful with a lot of good info to boot. I converted from a 2004 dodge neon to my used 2007 prius! I work at a Mitsubishi dealer and will probably catch heck when I pull up in my prius but if all goes well I will save a ton of cash on gas and will not care.

    Welcome to the site! I was browsing Pruischat for a few months before I bought my Prius, its a ridiculous wealth of information and the members here are always welcoming.

    Like I said before, you arent going to miss those gas stations (y)

    SO far so good! I am driving about 30 miles to work and then 30 home with a few small trips around town as well and on avg I am getting 46 mpg. Had one issue with the passenger seat belt that was ripped by the previous owner and then sewn back together to fix it...Ugghh. The dealership I got it from off their used lot is a Toyota scion dealer so they are taking care of like they should have during the safety inspection but missed it. In their defense though I don't think I would have known if I did not have a larger then normal friend sit up front and have to pull the belt almost all the way out.
