    Hello,
My husband and I just purchased a 2010 Prius, and so far we are loving it. I'm glad I found this site, lots of information!

Welcome to PC, and congratulations on your choice of wheels! I won't bore you by reciting my story of how I ended up with "ChuggyPig" (Gen II Prius with 83k miles (actually 87k by now)), if you're interested, all my information can be learned by reading my other posts, but I will say that PriusChat is one of the very best places to learn all you'll ever need to know about your Prius. Lots of generous folk, eager and willing to share their amazing knowledge and experience. Again, welcome!

Thank you! I have a lot to learn. I don't know much about the Prius yet, except, I'm saving a lot of money! We traded an F250 7.3 diesel for our Prius! We get very strange looks when we tell that! Lol

I traded my 08 F250 6.4 diesel for the Prius. I'll never go back. Now I'm the guy who borrows the friends truck. Welcome to the forum. If you need anything ask! Feel free to PM me or post!!!!

This seems to be a common theme. I also traded an F250 7.3 diesel for the Prius. We figure we can rent a truck three times a year with the savings on the registration fees. Fuel costs are less than 1/3 what they were.

I drove 3 miles to work, each way. In the winter months I'd put 100.00 a week In that truck.

That's only going to work and running basic errands.
