    Hi my name is Nasar and I am a taxi driver in the UK I have had my 2005 prius t spirit for a couple of weeks now and can say I am enjoying it and the economy I am currently on 62mpg and still learning!! To pulse and glide?

    Welcome aboard Nasar! Lots of threads on hypermiling the Prius. I would say @ 62, you are doing just fine.

    The English (Imperial) gallons are bigger. So 62 mpg is just fair mpg.

    Really. What do you consider "fair"? EPA ratings?
