Next Prius Meet

    Your next prius meet is going to be held on the 22nd of May.

    kkister1492: Quarry Park at about Decoto Rd and Paseo Parkway in the north part of Fremont. Has some lakes and some nice picnic areas as well as fishing for those so inclined. Looks like there was a free section with a small lake (didn't go in there) and one where you pay $5.00 a car (dogs $2 extra).

    So the Family decides to see Star Wars III on... MAY 22! Figures. I missed the last meeting because of a family obligation (trip to Disneyland). At least the "obligations" have been fun. :lol:

    May be I'll make it to the next one. But it will probably be during the time we're in England. *sigh*

    I think we need to have Lisa there so our'twins' can meet. I'm curious to meet V8, too. We'll be unavailable the last part of June thru the 2nd weekend in July. Will we ever have a meet-up ? (sigh)

    my family picked up our 400h today. I had to share. it's sooo awesome. :)

    so.. the meet. truly, how many people are reading this post or going to meet up? i'll still hold to the 22nd date

    let's do this. vote for a date you can make it to a meet. Simple as that. ok.. maybe not soo simple. we've always managed to have meets on sundays. It works out better that way. So.. pick your sunday you would like to have a meet. Or.. what sundays are available to you and we could pick a date out of those numbers. I want to have a decent turn out.

    my other idea is to make little "special invite" flyers to put on Prius all across the bay. I would go out for a day tagging prius windshields with these. i need help though.

    Ok, We leave for England July 8. But the first three weekends in June are good for me. That is June 5, 12, and 19 (Father's Day). Hm, the 12th is Silver 9's birthday! :partytime:

    There seem to be no movies that I have to coordinate a 15 people get together during that time. :popcorn:

    And they are currently open according to my organizer. So I should be safe. But I am a mom *sigh*

    Anypath, I'm open to anything but Star Wars Weekend. And of course the Memorial Day Weekend (BayCon an SF Con for those unitiated).

    Hey, Anyone going to Baycon? Maybe those of us who are can get together? We should have set up a BoF for Hybrid and EV people.

    sh... i hear crickets... *chirp* * chirp * yep.. the dead silence of only a few posting/ watching this forum. I wish group emailing wasn't soo complicated. I would like to email everyone. I would also like priuschat or S.F. Bay Area club cards, but this printer doesn't work. Can anyone make cards for me?

    quicksilver is a knick name for mercury. the New Almaden quicksilver mines were the major producers of Mercury during the gold rush. mercury is used to extract gold. without these mines, the gold rush wouldn't have been able to happen.

    It should be noted that there is a Yahoo Group for Bay Area Prius Fans. I already belong and would e-mail them, as soon as we figure this out...

    12th is still good. A friend just picked the 11th for a party, but hey, I can meet people on two days. Just be a bit ragged on day 2. But I'm currently keeping that one for this crowd.

    12th at Quarry Park?

    Do we have a date and place?
