NHRA Sonoma Nationals 07-29-2012

    It was a PERFECT day.
    Weather started off cool but it warmed up later, but not too hot though.

    Everyone at the track was terrific.

    I walked the track with John and Courtney Force.

    Man, those Top Fuel Dragsters and Funny Cars are loud!
    The pressure wave really does go right through you!
    Glad I brought along some hearing protection.

    At the end of the day, I walked to to the other side of the track.
    And then up to the top of the hill where I just caught Antron Brown winning the finals.
    Yes, that dragster he's driving is a Toyota!

    Another shot of Antron Brown's Toyota in the morning before any runs.

    And the winning elapsed time -- 3.814 seconds to go 1/4 mile

    With a trap of around 327 MPH.

    Who would have thought that from a Toyota?
