I have a 2009 prius and live in florida. Has anyone come up with a sun shield that can be placed over the display screen to help see the screen during the day? I HAVE A TERRIBLE TIME SEEING THE READOUT DISPLAY when the sun is overhead.

    Thanks

Can the contrast or brightness be increased?

I live in Florida too and I can see the mfd just fine but if the lights are on during the day you have to adjust the dash light brightness knob all the way up. The mfd automatically dims if the lights are turned on. I bought a mfd visor when I bought the car in 07. It hleps. I also have my radar detector velcro'ed to it. Works real good.
