No more Insight?

    The Insight, which was launched in 1999 in the United States, sold a total of 13,484 vehicles in total from its introduction until May 1, 2006. Last year, Honda sold only 650 Insights in the U.S. market.

    The Insight was lauded as the most fuel-efficient EPA-rated vehicle in America. The manual-transmission version returned 60 mpg in city driving and 66 mpg on the highway; the CVT-equipped Insight was good for 57 mpg in the city and 56 mpg on the highway.
