    :(

My Prius.com sticker from the PriusChat Store will have to be replaced, along with the entire car. I suppose I shouldn't be so attached to a 'thing' ... but jeez. No injuries sustained to any of the 3 cars involved. It was hit from behind, and thrown into the car in front of us:

    ah man! That totally blows.
Glad you are safe and injury free.

Things can be replaced but we kind of like you around here. Count your blessings.

Ow!!!!! Glad your OK to make a post about it! Hopefully the other two parties involved had full insurance coverage!
Well now you have to make that difficult choice, what to replace baby with?
Tessla, HyHI, Camery Hybrid, PHEV Prius, or a nice 2012 Prius /ATP...so many choices, what's a brother to do?

Let us know how this plays out!!!

    Glad you are okay.

I suppose you are going to replace Prius with Prius.???

Going to move agressively to avoid the upcoming Vehicle Proximity Notification System?

Or waiting for the 2012's or the Plug In Prius?

None of my business, but inquiring minds want to know....

Man you must have been hit pretty hard. Your front looks like it went under the bumper of the front vehicle almost...

    Glad everyone's OK.

I am guessing the Prius will be replaced with another Prius. You already have the RXh for fun and power :)

That sucks and it's terrible that you'll have to rely on the LEAF for a while and tell us about your EV-only experience.

Or you could get a rental.

    PS Glad you're all OK.

The Prius died, so that the LEAF might live. :)

Can't say I know you personally, but I will say it is not good when any of us suffer what you went through. I hope you don't have any long term effects from the accident. Cars can be replaced, but the body is a one term thing. Take care, and good luck to you.

Sucks about that car! I just want to say that if the world was made up entirely of Prius chatters, we would have a lot less war and a lot more love!

    Ouch!

The timing isn't quite the best either... Going to replace it w/a PiP or '11 or '12 non-PiP?

Thanks everyone for the well wishes and good thoughts. It's strange being a PC member for so long, and suddenly finding myself without the P. Our daughter back in Nashville was going to eventually inherit our Prius. Gulp ... we'll see how it all goes ... insurance etc.

=(. Glad no one was hurt. That avatar will forever hold its place.

On the bright side, the timing is pretty good considering there's the Prius PHV, Prius c, Prius v, TCH and CT200h to consider (or go upscale to the GSh :D)
