No ringing sound with Bluetooth?

    Since I don't have a Bluetooth phone and have only tried this feature with a friend's phone, I don't know if I'm missing something. How come the car doesn't replicate a phone ringing sound when you receive a call? The phone rings and the MFD shows an incoming call, but I don't get an audio notification of the call.

    I don't know what phone you have. My Motorola V600 rings through the car audio.

    Some ring through the car and some don't. My v505 does, my T610 didn't. Go figure.

    Do you know if your T610 suppored Bluetooth 1.1? I'm going to assume that was BT 1.0, and I don't believe ringing thru the "headset" was in the profile at that point.

    The v505 is a BT 1.1 phone, unless I'm mistaken. And a very nice phone too I think. How are you liking it?

    my Sony Ericsson K700i does'nt ring either through the car.
    But bluetooth functions fine!
