I had the steering and inverter pump recall performed and picked up my 09 prius, when I got to work and powered it off I did not hear the usual transfer pump sound. I took it to get lunch and again no sound. Could they have unplugged it as part of the inverter pump install and forgot to reconnect it?

Im not sure, because I think the transfer pump remaining unplugged would set off the Check Engine Light after the car commanded the pump to run and realized it didnt.
But when I hear stuff like this, its the reason I keep putting off bringing my car in for the recalls  I hear so many things on priuschat about the dealerships messing up the cars worse than the condition they went in!
