    Hi!
During the 120000km (75000mi) service my Toyota local service said I have a noisy Prius and that the sound is from the belt tensioner bearing.

As I bought it used and allways heard the same sound I'de like the opinion from other 2G owners.

    I've made a video.

Do you find it different from regular ICE sound?

Yes, it sounds like your car has a bad bearing. If you plan to DIY you could remove the serpentine drive belt and rotate the tensioner pulley by hand to see if you feel roughness in the pulley bearing.

    yes thats pretty loud.

While the belt is off turn the ICE water pump pulley too to see how thats doing.
I would change the belt also if any repairs done.

Serp belt tensioner bearing failure is very common.

Mine doesn't sound like that. I would stick a auto stethoscope on it to see if the noise is coming from the tensioner or something else.

Thanks for all the answers. I'll order the bearing and the replacement to Toyota, my DIY skills are more for the electric parts and software.
