This A/C system, which uses CO2 as a refrigerant, was installed in a fuel cell hybrid vehicle, TOYOTA FCHV.

●World’s first (launched in Dec. 2002) Non-fluorocarbon Car A/C for commercial vehicles.

●It has higher suction pressure, compared with general car A/C with HFC-134a, and a smaller suction loss effect so that it is relatively easy to ensure sufficient refrigerant amount. For this reason, this A/C shows an excellent heat pump performance. Therefore, this type A/C can bring about the high level of heating performance for the low heat source vehicles such as FCHV.
