Hi all!. I recently purchased a used 2010 with 31K. Looking forward to some great gas mileage. In hindsight, I wish I would have paid the extra $$ and got a new one. After I got it home, I discovered a few things I was not too happy about. Anyway, I filed a claim with Toyota, so I will see how it goes.

    Initial thoughts:

    1. Very quiet and refined.
    2. Runs and handles better than I expected.
    3. The dash area has too many squeaks.
    4. The plastics seem to very easy to scratch and lower quality than I would expect from a Toyota.

Congrats on your new purchase! Are your concerns more than the squeaks from the dash?

Congrats! I'd try to get those squeaks addressed while you're still under warranty.

Congrats on your new Prius and welcome to PriusChat. Some of your dash rattles will go away when the weather warms up, and some will not. In either case, none of them are harmful.

Enjoy the great MPGs, technology and low emissions.
