We're planning a "Prius Block Party" on May 2ND. We're in the north-west corner of VT so there may not be too many of you near us but if you are come on by.

we're offering refreshments, prizes, giveaways ect. We're having a MPG race around the city. offering factory accessories at heavily discounted prices and having an aftermarket company onsite for other accessories.

Any other ideas or insight let me know.

    We're in St. Albans VT

Ooh, Vermont in the spring. Even though leaves won't be out
yet, sounds like a fine idea..

I was thinking that too as I read this at work this afternoon. Any suggestions on places to stay that are inexpensive?

glad to see some interest! There's a La Quinta in (used to me comfort in) and there's an econo-lodge. I think if you google St. Albans, VT you'll find them both. It's a small town but our dealership is in the center of it with plenty of shopping near by and the village green is right next to us. In fact by then the farmers market should be up and running again.

A couple updates; we're working with the local power company and they may be on sight displaying their "cow-power" renewable energy.

also our aftermarket vendor will be here and they'll be displaying a computer upgrade that puts the Prius into EV mode at speeds under 35! Only turns on the engine when absolutely necessary. I guess they come this way in Europe but Toyota changed them for US to satisfy our fuel company (that's just what I was told)
