    Apparently Toyota (and Tesla) are listening and will bring these back from the dead. But there will always be a certain je ne sais quoi about having the first. Dare I compare it to a Miura? Horrible car, but such a great car at the same time. The Rav4EV has the privledge of being a great car now and forever.

    that rav4 EV was in the same era as the EV1 except Toyota didn't destroy all of them. So in a sense he's buying a piece of history.

    As a collector item, he should get it.

    For daily drive, he could wait and get future EVs (Leaf or Tesla / Toyota Rav4 EV).
