Now THIS is a stubby antenna!

I imagine that my reception may suffer some, but for me, my local fm stations come in fine so far, and I'm happy with it.
The unit has 1/4"of threads, a shoulder to fit a 6mm wrench, and another 1/2" of threads. I screwed the 1/4" down to the shoulder, slid a rubber cap on the top 1/2" section, and rolled 2 o-pings down on it to cover the shoulder and to help visually.

 

Yep, PlastiDip would have been fine also, I just used what I had.
A link does not exist. I found it in one of my misc bolt drawers. I have no idea where it came from originally.
