    Japanese snake oil. "Stabilizes" your cars voltage and grows hair on the hood of your car. They market it along with super heavy duty ground straps.

    If you pretend that in a normal car, that the alternator speed depends on the engine speed and this somehow needed voltage stabilization, (which I am not saying it does) in a Prius there is no alternator and the 12 volt inverter has no relation to engine speed.

    And even in systems that need some kind of filtering/stabilization........the BATTERY serves that function quite nicely in most situations.

    Snake oil indeed.
