Obama under Secret Service protection.

It was probably misread as you calling Obama a racist (at least, thats how i first read it before i said Kow wouldn't do that!)

 

I sent the inappropriate post message. I don't think it was intentional, but gramatically speaking it does say that "Obama is a racist and that we are wearing him out".

Looks pretty obvious to me kow's calling Obama a racist. No surprises there. From Wildkow, I mean.

 

I don’t care for Obama but him needing to be protected because of his race. That speak volumes about our country and I am un-happy about it. imho we do have racist here on the forum and from some of the threads here I can say some are not just mild but major racist. It saddens me to think we still judge a man by his race and not his actions.

Well, yes there is a grammatic problem, a big one, that I bolded for you - you throughout all your posts refer to racists (plural) in the singular. Thus it appears you are calling a single individual a racist, and the only single individual in your posts is Obama. Had you said racists (plural) I think some of the doubt about what you were saying wouldn't have come up.

That is why I took it the way I did but the word itself is kinda tricky because I'm not sure if it was used incorrectly without the plural (s) or not.

Mark beat me to it. I presume Kow was refering to racists (plural) threatening Obama. But his use of the singular made me wonder if I had missed a news item about some one individual racist making a threat, and we were supposed to know who that was. The confusion was heightened because of his consistent use of the singular, making it seem that it was unlikely to be a typo.

A bit of grammar education can avoid many misunderstandings.

There are a few racists who post here, but Kow, in my opinion, is not one of them.

 

The way this country is today, they all should be under SS protection.

 

Sorry, Wildkow, I was not intending to launch any personal attacks. Maybe it's just my perspective, or our perceived differences, but your posts generally don't come across as being full of love, hope, and compassion for your fellow man. To be perfectly honest, most of the time I have no idea where you're coming from.

As for Obama being under guard, it would seem standard procedure for someone in his position. Race (he's not human?) shouldn't have anything to do with it.

I honestly thought they all got Secret Service protection, at least while they're in large groups/gatherings. I couldn't imagine being in one of those convention centers or gatherings with thousands of people and not have some form of formal protection from the Secret Service.
