OBDII Trouble Code Reader???

    Can anyone recommend a good, inexpensive, code reader for my '03? I really only need to read the error code, any extra data would just be icing on the cake.

    I hope that he has some available for purchase. Your cake would get a lot of icing with this.

    As I understand it, generic code readers will let you see (and clear) some Prius codes, but not others.

    have a look at the manual for the MiniScanner and you can see all the data it can get off the buss. If memory serves me right there are 51 data bits that it can read. I use one all the time and I think it was the best money I've spent on the car. Come to think of it the only money I've spent on the car.
    Edit: it can also read and clear the OBD11 codes as well.
