Observations of Phone Ringing through Prius

When I got a call earlier, the ringing that came though the Prius was the "Siren" sound that I selected on the phone for the normal ring tone. The first call I received after buying this Moto V600 was a different ring - - the phone was set to the "Cingular" Ring tone prior to my changing the settings to the Siren. The Cingular ring didn't sound like it does on the V600 alone, it sounded like a cell phone ringing (like it may be a default Toyota Ring sound) . Just a weird observation, I know, I just found it strange that the rings were different but not matched when changed on the V600.
