Thankfully, Toyota is hanging in there just fine with their hybrids...

    Code:

    [B]11,804[/B] Prius
     [B]2,792[/B] Camry
     [B]1,022[/B] Highlander
       [B]615[/B] RX400h

The 2 types of hybrid from GM, on the other hand, are just barely scraping by...

    Code:

    [B]372[/B] Tahoe
    [B]230[/B] Escalade
    [B]193[/B] Yukon

    [B]354[/B] Vue
    [B]325[/B] Malibu
     [B]22[/B] Aura

We are now paying dearly for all that "cheap" credit and subprime stuff. I personally believe the crisis has just started, we're in for a pretty scary roller-coaster ride.

If Obama wins and he can keep the media on his side for a year, make some good decisions, restore some semblance of confidence, we will make it out of the ditch.
If he wavers, and/or the congress performs like it has for the last 2 years and sputters around with social issues and bs, the media turns against him, look out the ride will resemble a free-fall" ride as opposed to an actual roller-coaster.

As for the credit situation, there is currently a reaction in the market-place and credit that should be extended is not being extended.

I do have my farm/bunker ready just in case.

GMAC is paying over 4 1/3% guaranteed to attract deposits which infers a liquidity problem. If they deserve the blame for slumping sales now they also deserve the blame for overstimulating the market the last few years. Things aren't bad enough to stop the credit card solicitations.
