OEM 12V Battery Source

    You guys have probably already seen this battery source. You can order the OEM for $111 plus another $12 for shipping. That is not too bad. What do yo think?

    The HV battery is $2000 from them btw.

    If I planned to own my Prius for less than 5 more years I would save money and buy the cheaper battery, if I thought I would have it 5 years or more I would save money and buy the longer lasting battery.

    2* 135 is more than 1 * 180

    I just read Hobbit's Optima battery installation instructions. Do you still have to do the workarounds he discusses to install, or do the new Optima kits have these corrections integrated into their kit?

    Looks like there is no question that the Optima is a better battery.
