    Unfortunately, currently the above link has no working video. I found “Acceleration Suppression for Pedal Misapplication” | NISSAN | TECHNOLOGICAL DEVELOPMENT ACTIVITIES but its video was busted when I first looked. It seems to be the same video as from October 2011 at

    I wonder what the new video has.

    This would be an alternative to the footwell cameras that evpv was proposing. ;)

    At least this would prevent noisy neuromuscular processes mentioned at Smart pedals won’t put the brakes on driver error / UCLA Today.
