    So today Toyota officially announced minor change model (2012) in Japan
    Which including Plug In Hybrid.

    So I my car was in service so I ask for new catalog.

    For Japanese market
    What's new
    G, G-Touring, G-Lather
    New Standard
    driver and passenger power Seat. Driver is 8-way and passenger is 4-way.
    Front door Super UV Cut
    Auto dimming interior mirror w/rain sensor wiper
    G-Leather has same standard equipment
    such as radar cruse control, and Navi w/ HUD

    New options
    Power sliding roof w/ventilation
    JBL "Green Edge"

    New interior trim
    G, G-Touring
    Soft leather w/ soft cloth insert seats.

    S, S-Touring
    No more Power sliding roof w/ventilation

    L
    Remain same

    G, and S gets HID head lights
    G-Touring, G-Leather and S-Touring is LED head lights

    New color for "Start Button" now Blue

    The models have me confused. Which models (US variety) have this new Bold Mica (purple) color?

    Thank you so much for the post. My salesman called me this morning to let me know that there is info available to them about the new models, and he is going to track it down in the next day or two.

    Why the hell would Toyota do that ?
    Sometimes Toyota seems really rediculous !
    Why wouldn´t i like to see the buttons at nighttime ?
    I hope they don´t even think about talking away the illumination of the mode-buttons in the european version !
    I will really be disappointed if they do !

    Thanks! I'll update the Features & Spec list asap. Just one question. "Soft leather w/ soft cloth seat insert", is that the SofTex with ultrasuede inserts? (e.g. found on the Camry) or is it a different material all together?

    EV mode range is about 20Km to 26km depend on condition
    EV mode max speed is 100km/ph
    EV, Hybrid and engine combine fuel rate is about 57km/l to 61km/L

    Toyota said rapid or quick charging system configuration not available for now.
    Because quick charging system is still too expensive for many customers or charge station.

    Minor Change Prius on sale December
    PVH is January and taking order now!

    That colour will not make it over to NA. The only new colour we have is Seaglass Metallic

    Now that Aqua (we call it Misty Grey here) is no longer "two tone", we need to petition to get the black/brown and black/blue interiors over!

    Personal opinion Black/Blue is nicer color combo than Black/Brown.
    When I order my car I was intent to order with Aqua but I chosen Gray.

    Also more dealer install accessories are now available than before!

    Looks like Sea Glass Pearl is similar to Frost Green Mica in Japan. And only available for PVH

    Really? I thought it was "Aqua Blue Metallic" because the colour code is the same. What's this Frosted Green? Did they change the name? Do you have the colour code for it? Thanks!

    I just don´t know why Toyota and other car companys don´t let the customers decide which colours they favor !
    Why make differences between NA,Europe and Asia ?
    The vehicles are all built at the same plant or not ?
    By the look of things we wont´t get the "Sea Glass Pearl" colour in Germany and only God or Toyota knows why !

    I think The Prius is looking real sharp.

    Alright, now I know I'm probably once again in a huge minority but is anyone a little disapointed in how normal and good The Prius is looking?

    What I mean- is one thing I liked about the Generation 2, was it's incongruent, openly nerdish look. The Prius is looking almost too good. Too normal.

    No doubt Haters will still find a way to recognize it as a Prius and Hate on it. But IMO The Prius has simply become a sharp looking hatchback. IMO almost disapointingly "normal".
