The 5k maintenance light is preset by Toyota not your dealer. The answer to reprogramming is no.

Your maintenance manual shows 5k maintenance items beyond oil changes. Tire rotation, fluid level checks, etc.

You can do most of these yourself if you choose.

To reset, have the right display on Trip A, turn off engine, hold down KPH/MPH button and hit Power button. A bar chart showing reset progress will appear. Once reset is complete release KPH/MPH button.

This is from my note on how to reset the "maintenance" message

    Reset Prius “Maintenance Required” message

    Go to “trip A”
    Power off car
Hold down “km/h” button while pressing the power on button
