I changed my oil before the indicator showed up.
This is the first time I'm doing it myself and I don't know how to prevent the "change oil" indicator to show up.
The problem is that I don't have the MPH/Kilometers button and doing the same steps but with the "Trip" button show nothing on the screen.
    The instructions from the forum:
HOWTO: Resetting the Oil Maintenance Required indicator | PriusChat
    Any ideas?

What does the owners manual say?

Mine is in German and I don't know German language but that's a good idea, I'll get a online translator and have a look.

You could also get the owners manual online.

But a translation would work too.

Good luck and keep us posted (y).

Oh, I do have a manual that I downloaded from the internet but it also says to use the MPH/Km button, that's why translating the German physical book version could help.

On our cars, the "MPH/KPH" button is above the three "H:M:00" buttons. Yours shows the same button but with a speedometer icon. So I would try the procedure pushing that in place of M/KM. Before doing so, use the Trip button on the steering wheel to put the mode in "Trip A" Yours appears to be in "miles to empty"

The button has a speedometer with a light bulb on it. It's one of the most important buttons a car could have! It controls dashboard light brightness
I went and try all the steps with this button and it didn't work.
When the instruction says to "Power On" they mean to push the Power button with the brake peddle depressed or without and push the Power button twice?

    Try it both ways :).

You’ll know the answer if or which way works;).

I think two pushes of Start button without foot on brake.

I did try both ways, I'm just asking to eliminate the number of possibilities :)

Just to clarify: you bought the car in Germany, there's Toyota division in Germany, and they put out an Owner's Manual? Is the manual missing?

    And to further, further clarify:
I thought I read somewhere that European models do NOT HAVE the "maintenance reminder" feature.

I think you need to find a dealer who speaks English to help you.

Yes, I bought the car in Germany.
I got the manual but it's in German and I don't know German language. As we speek I'm sitting with a translator looking for any related information in the manual but it looks like they didn't include such "difficult" maintanance in the maintenance section. Maybe they want to force their users to go to the dealer, I don't know.

When you first turn on the car and the indicator lights light up, test sequence, is there a “MAINT REQ’D” light?

No, there is no information like that.
The problem is that most of things are recalculated from miles to kilometres in this car.
I should do maintenance every 15000km but maintenance in miles is 10000 miles which makes 16093.44 km. I got 1093 km before the indicator light shows up and I don't want to look for a way to turn it off while I'm on the road, that would really suck.
Like sam spade 2 suggested I might not even have that warning but again, looking how to reset it on the road would really suck.
I will go to some garage and ask.

Here's an excerpt from the North American Owner's Manual. Maybe it will help locate the section in the German Book.

If the warning was just a small light, I'd say just ignore it, do the maintenace following a schedule. But I gather it's a big warning, taking over the screen?

On North-American-market cars, it is this button, with a different label:
