I have a brand new STEEL strut bar for the gen2 prius. I had to wait 2 months for it as it was built to order and by the time I got it, I already picked up a used one.

Price is $250 shipped to anywhere in the continental-US.

It's is brand new but there is a scuff mark on one of the corners that poked thru the box when it was shipped from Japan. Below are a couple of installed pics of the same used on that's on my car

I have heard this creates tighter stiffness when steering....is that true? Do you have to remove the front struts to install or just loosen the top nuts?

Definitely made the steering tighter and on uneven dips on the road, made it smoother as well.

Install just requires removing the top nuts installing the brace, then reinstalling the nuts. Most difficult part is removing the windshield wiper cowl. For my first time touching that cowl, took me about 10min
