I have on 07 just hit 13000 miles.
The last two days when I put in park or change from park to drive I get one or two short beeps.
I am getting no error messages. Any ideas??

Are all passengers wearing their seatbelts?
Are you carrying a heavy item on the front passenger seat?
    Any instrument panel lights on?

I don't think I can recall any time that the car will beep when put into Park... From Park to Drive, it could be that you're shifting a little too fast and that your foot isn't firmly on the brake pedal but shifting into Park? That's a head-scratcher.

    Patrick,
    Thanks For The Reply! :p
    I am the only passenger.
I am wearing my seat belt.
No other items on any seats.
The Only things on the panel are the speed limit (0) and ready, No other messages etc.
The lights are turned off, as all of this has happened during the day time.

I think that Tideland is on the right track. Make sure that your foot is pressing hard on the brake pedal when you shift to/from P, and see if that makes a difference.

    Thanks For The Replies!

I did think of that today before posting......

BUT Since it has not happened before ( since 7/07 and 13,0000 miles )
I sort of ruled that out.

BUT will be careful this coming week and see.

Will post results. Hmmm Perhaps Old Age is setting in.:p

At least press hard enough to illuminate the brake lights. They are the signal to the ECU that you're stepping on the brake pedal.

I have been trying to replicate BUT so far no luck.
Perhaps it was my foot not firmly on the brake.
