two loads to the recycling depot. First load total weight was 793Lbs. the most I've ever towed, and the second load was 100Lbs. less. The total round trip distance is 13km. MG1 temp climbed to 57C and MG2 got to 51C. I've had higher MG temps before lots of times. One small hill and several stops. Car handled fine. Lady on the scale told me my car stalled as the ICE stopped waiting for the platform to stop moving so she could get an accurate weight. Said don't think so as I drove of the scale in stealth towing the trailer. I love this car!

those are my mileage numbers for my west to east coast-to-coast, fillups on these dates...

maybe not towing as much weight as you were, and lots of that was on interstates at 55-65 mph, and doggone it, i really need to weigh the trailer!

Alan I've followed your journey with great interest. Being a short distance it really didn't kill my tank mileage as it still worked out to 55.3 imperial which works to 46.1 US so I'm still pleased. But like I said lots of weight. Put 70 PSI in the trailer tires and felt them when I got to the recycling station and they weren't very warm at all. LOVE this CAR!

I'd guess weight, rolling resistance and air drag all vary from trailer to trailer. I tow a 400 pound trailer and get about 40 mpg (US) through hilly Colorado highways.
