Hi everyone....OC Prius Club members and old friends.

I've been "away" from PC for quite a while now.
The new PIP has re-newed my interest in the best Hybrid car every made.
Still have my original Gen II '05 .....just reached 75k miles. ....peeled off my (early adopters) old yellow car pool stickers (#1945) :(

Averaging about 49mpg with every tank.
Besides new tires, filters and oil Changes....the only other maintenance additions to my car have been a new 12v battery and spark plugs.
Just recently read about the HV battery fan cleaning procedure which sounds like something I could handle.

I've sent out some "friend request" if you happen to get one please accept.
See everyone around the forums and maybe at a club meeting or 2.

Welcome back from the OC Prius Club!
Do you have a PIP on order? Several of us do, so should be something to talk about!

    Thanks Cathy and Dianne.
Quite a different experience from my 1st Prius Purchase. I'm astounded by how well Dianne knows the Prius. Kudos to you Dianne for being the absolute most well-informed Dealer I have ever met.

I have some catching up to do learning about this new PIP.
All I know right now is...
-suppose to get about 14 miles to a charge
-It's expensive.....the Lower Priced PIP is about $5k more than I paid for TOTL package in 05.
-It's got a new Navigation system
    -Get's 48mpg in hybrid mode

That's about the extent of my pip info for now.
Looks like I'll be selling an '05 with low miles if you know anyone looking PM me....!

There is a $2500 Federal Tax Credit, and (crossing fingers) a California $1500 rebate (if there is still money in the pot by the time we get our cars) that you apply for as soon as you get your car.

So $4000 in reductions is a good thing...
    PLUS the GREEN CARPOOL sticker...
